NEW SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE!   If the parking lot is overflowing, just park at the Tarpon Springs High School lot (a few blocks east of Florida Avenue on Gulf Road) and hitch a ride on the white bus provided by the City of Tarpon Springs. Shuttle bus service begins around 6:15 on concert nights and will drop off near the concession stand at the beach.  The bus will also return concert-goers to the high school lot.

Concerts are canceled when there is lightning, heavy rain or wind at the beach, which would pose a danger for the audience as well as performers and their equipment.  Cloudy weather or light showers immediately preceding the concerts are not generally cause for cancellation.  In fact, rain may have moved inland by concert time, while the beach has cleared or remained dry.

Tarpon Springs Recreation Division staff will be on the beach early to monitor conditions and local weather advisories and make a decision to go forward (or not) based on prevailing weather as late as 6:45 PM.  Therefore, the City is unable to provide a cancellation recording earlier in the day unless there are hurricane warnings or other advance, severe weather warnings.  In general, please do not call the Recreation Division for this information until at least 6:45 PM.  Their number is 727-942-5628.
